Included in the build

  • A round of revisions so we get the details right before launch.
  • Optional help setting up your domain (£50 labour plus the domain cost). The domain is registered in your name and stays yours.
  • Optional hosting at £12/month or £100/year, covering secure deployment and basic technical maintenance only.
  • I'm not VAT-registered, so there's no VAT to add.

Not included (quoted separately)

  • Content edits, extra pages, integrations, and feature changes are quoted separately after the agreed launch scope.
  • Search ranking positions, enquiry volume, Google review outcomes, and AI/search visibility are not guaranteed.

  • Additional pages, copywriting, integrations, and larger design changes can be quoted separately.

How it works

  1. Send an enquiry

    The first step is the contact form with the business name and any useful profile, website, or social links. Get in touch.

  2. Agree the scope

    The included launch scope, optional extras, domain setup, and hosting choice are confirmed before work starts.

  3. Build and launch

    The site is built around the agreed content and launched once the essentials are checked.

Common questions

Is VAT charged?
I'm not VAT-registered, so there's no VAT to add.
What does the hosting price cover?
The £12/month or £100/year hosting option covers secure deployment and basic technical maintenance only. Content edits and feature changes are quoted separately.
Are Google rankings guaranteed?
No. I can build a clear, SEO-optimised, technically sound website, but search rankings, enquiry volume, and AI/search visibility are not guaranteed.
Who owns the domain?
You do. I recommend registering it in your own name in a client-owned account such as Spaceship, so you're never locked in. If you'd like help setting it up, that's £50 plus the domain cost, and the domain cost is separate from the build and hosting prices.
How does payment work?
A 50% advance payment secures your project slot and starts the work; the remaining 50% is due when the agreed website is ready for launch, or before it goes live, whichever comes first. View Terms
What support do you offer after launch?
I aim to reply to support requests within two working days. Hosting covers keeping the site online, secure deployment, and basic technical maintenance only; content edits, new sections, and new features are quoted separately.
Can I cancel or move my site elsewhere?
Your domain is registered in your name and stays yours, so you're never locked in. You can cancel optional hosting at any time and it stops at the end of the period you've paid for. If you'd like to move your site to another host or developer, I'll hand over your site files on request.
Will you ask me for a review?
Only after your site is live, and only if you're happy with it. An honest review or testimonial genuinely helps a small independent business like mine, but it's always optional, separate from your pricing, and never a condition of the offer or your support.
Where are you based, and do you work with businesses outside North Devon?
I'm based in Bideford, North Devon, and I'm glad to work with businesses around the area. I also work with clients throughout the UK and worldwide remotely, so we don't need to be in the same place for me to design and build your site.
